    The Experience

     

    The Brotique's Story

    Starting with our founder Richard Murphy's passion for style and an idea of a store for men, he decided to convert the former design studio in Stockbridge into a small but carefully curated store. The thriving business quickly outgrew the space. This lead to the move into our current lovingly refurbished 200 year old Queen Street store in central Edinburgh, where our passion has paid off as business continues to grow and our small, dedicated team diversifies and expands.

    It all began with The Brotique's popular signature item, the 'Man Hamper'. The contents of these bespoke made hampers offer a blend of our favourite products or a custom built selection, perfect as a gift for a loved one or event. Our high quality product range is constantly refreshed as we find new and exciting goods that aren't available on the high street, this is reflected in our ever adapting Man Hampers that contain our knowledgeable teams’ favourite new products as well as the classics that our customers keep coming back for.

    From the start, we have been passionately committed to selecting only the best products that have passed our careful inspection! This has been maintained, with our whole team involved in the selection process so we can be absolutely sure that we are selling premium goods and promoting only the best brands available.

    As a team with diverse knowledge in both contemporary design and retail, we take a lot of pride in our store’s interior which is alway evolving as our product range adapts with new trends and changing needs of our customers. The interior design of our Queen Street store has always been curated to leave room to move things around to transform our store into the perfect space for events with ease.

    As our business has grown and continued to succeed, we have strongly focussed on reflecting our streamlined in store shopping experience to our websites’. This is an area we are continuing to develop in 2016 and we’re excited to offer our customers’ another element of the tailored and forever evolving experience at The Brotique.

     

     

     

    Events

    As part of the Brotique experience, we can also offer our store as a space for events. 
    We've got a track record of throwing great parties and events with established independents such as Braw, Lulu Lemon, Decembeard, Movember, Innis & Gun and Martin Miller - find out what we can do for you!

     

    We understand the importance of supporting and collaborating with other independent companies, sharing ideas and maintaining lasting relationships meaning we have resources to collaborate for your event.

     

    Hosting anything from corporate events to stag do's and drink tastings; our interior, events planner, location and relationships with other local companies cultivates the atmosphere for an amazing night.
