The time has finally come, Scot Street Style's first-ever book, ONWARD, is officially launching January 31st! To celebrate the arrival of this printed and bound ode to all things Scottish and Stylish, we're throwing a party. A big party. And you, our beloved pledgers and contributes, are all most cordially invited.
Who says New Yorkers get to have all the fun? We are hijacking the SSS #tg6 within Glasgow's SWG3 to launch the long awaited book documenting well, you! Starting from 7pm on the 31st of January, Scot Street Stylers will assemble within the 2nd Floor Design Studios where you can mingle with fellow fashion rebels, enjoy refreshments and celebrate the ever growing community. Local DJ David Stone will be spinning old school soul and motown records while Glasweigian photographer Simon Murphy will be confiscating the selfie sticks to capture smiles in his mini pop up studio. Come on now, don't be shy!
For all the pledgers out there, this is your chance to pick up your long awaited copy of ONWARD. If you cannot make it, do not fret as we will post your order to you direct. If you haven't pre ordered your copy there will also be a limited amount of copies for sale until 10pm so snap them up fast.
At 10pm the evening moves next door to The Poetry Club where you can continue to mingle with some familiar faces. If you have had enough chat for one night, you can get your dance on at The Electric Frog at The Warehouse free of charge thanks to the guys at SWG3.
We'd also like to give a special thanks to the amazing Supermark for all his hard work in designing and developing the Volume 1 of ONWARD. We must say, it's looking pretty spectacular.
They say it takes one person to give birth, but it takes a village to raise a child and ONWARD certainly feels like our baby. Thank you to each and every one of you for contributing, pledging and sharing your stories. Without you there would be no book and in turn no celebration. We can't wait to toast to each and every one of you. So, see you on the 31st then? ONWARD!
