Could we be any more pleased? Or prouder? It's hard to imagine how. Our good friend Kestin Hare, former creative director at Common People has only gone and striked out by himself with his own label and debut collection "White Noise" as Men's Collections in London.
From slicing open Dior coats to learn how to pattern cut to sourcing from as many British manufactuers at possible, Hare has already made quite the name for himself with his history at Reiss, Nigel Cabourn and of course Common People. His debut collection is inspired by the white noise from tv sets, marking the end of Common People and the beginning of a new and contemporary take on menswear with a global appeal.
With a London store on the cards and more than a little investment from over in Japan from distributor Masataka Fujino, Hare's lifelong dream of his own label is finally being realised.
We loved Common People and can't wait to see what Kestin does with his new project. It's sure to be nothing short of spectacular.
