It's National Climate Week and all over the UK individuals, corporations and businesses are evaluating how they can practice better sustainable trading and consumption. Creating a sustainable, ethical business has always been one of our core values here at The Brotique. What truly makes us different is our ethos as we continually strive to make a more environmentally sustainable store. It’s an approach we apply to all our resources and products, sourcing locally wherever possible
We focus on using vintage and antique furniture in store both for brand development and to reduce our environmental impact, with an added bonus of being beautifully made and lasting longer too. From reclaimed chairs from the 1930s to work desks, there isn't anything in the store that doesn't have a particular use.
It's not all just in the trimmings though. We work with small retailers all over the world that we believe make the best quality goods but do so with a conscience. A big part of how we work with our suppliers is something we like to call “raw retail” working with them to reduce unnecessary packaging which helps us reduce waste. All packaging we do use uses recycled material and is fully recyclable, showing that quality long lasting products can also match up with your personal ethics.
We love being as green as possible so coming together for practical implications for sustainability while retaining style is right up our alley. Are you making any changes as part of National Climate Week?
Buying Christmas beard gifts for the man in your life can be tricky no matter if they are your brother, boyfriend or dad, even the bearded ones.
However, if the guy has a beard, you can be certain that some beard care items and or some form of facial hair item will be loved and cherished way beyond Christmas time.
