As international fashion weeks around the globe comes to an end for another season, Edinburgh sets to become the catwalk capital this March. From the 7th - 15th, Edinburgh will be celebrating the city’s unique style and diverse shopping landscape by rolling out a series of events from pop up shops, runway shows and exclusives, asking local retailers to join in on the festivities, and of course we thought we would get in on the action.
Being Edinburgh's quintessential mens store, we have always been big lovers of tweed so it was only a matter of time before we teamed up with the guys at Walker Slater. After we launched our new flagship store on 39 Queen Street, our #ManCave has become the perfect place to hang out and take in the surroundings. So what better time than Edinburgh Fashion Week than to ask Walker Slater to pop up in our store and collaborate on something limited and special.
The pop up will be in store from Thursday the 12th until Sunday the 15th of March, where Walker Slater will be setting up shop (and a display) for us all to enjoy. It will be here that we will be launching our collaborative tie which has been a great project to work on, but it doesn't end there. On Friday the 13th (lucky for some) we will be hosting an evening with the folk behind the brand from 6pm - 8pm. They will also be introducing their brand new “Alliance Tweed” before it makesits official debut at Tartan Week in April. Who says Scottish fashion is all tartan? Expect treats from Gusto, fine craft-brewed beer and the launch of our Edinburgh Fashion Week Walker Slater competition.
Over the course of the weekend, customers will be invited to enter in our competition for a chance to win a carefully curated #MANHAMPER full of Walker Slater goodies. The competition is free to enter to the general public, only requiring you to take a photo of our Walker Slater display within our Queen Street Store, tagging @WalkerSlater and @The_Brotique as well as adding the hashtag #EdFashionWeek.
