There's nothing like a tie to sharpen up a day to day look. While the suit is key, the devil is in the details, like cuff links, pocket squares, and (of course) ties! Last Friday, we invited everyone round to our flagship store on 39 Queen Street to celebrate our tweed tie collaboration with local bro's Walker Slater, and they certainly went down a treat!
With an extremely limited run and three styles to choose from, the Edinburgh Fashion Week tie was designed by our main Bro, Richard Murphy and Walker Slater Designer Vixy Ray. Using three separate styles of tweed and coordinating silk backing, they certainly were the stars of the show, well, until our pal Tio Pepe stole the thunder with his bow tie and bunnet!
We picked each tie combination to look great with denim, suits or worn simply with a good shirt. With only 16 made, these ties are pretty much as limited edition as you can get. Choose from Rust, Slate or Green Herringbone while you still can, available in store and online now.for just £35.
The night wasn't just to celebrate the tie collaboration, but also to unveil the Five Borough's Tweed by Walker Slater, created for their underground Tweed Takeover for New York's Tartan Week.
It was the perfect way to kick start the weekend, with refreshments from Black T and pizza's from stylish bar and restaurant Gusto, we can't wait for our next collaboration party! We were also running an instore competition to win a special Walker Slater #MANHAMPER, the winner will be announced later today so keep your eyes on our instagram (@the_brotique) for details!
Thank you to Walker Slater, Marketing Edinburgh, Tennents Black and Gusto, Edinburgh for all their support and of course, everyone who attended. We hope to see you all again soon!
If you are interested in collaborating or hosting a party with us, send a tweet over to @the_brotique for details.
Buying Christmas beard gifts for the man in your life can be tricky no matter if they are your brother, boyfriend or dad, even the bearded ones.
However, if the guy has a beard, you can be certain that some beard care items and or some form of facial hair item will be loved and cherished way beyond Christmas time.
