Who these terms are with
This website, thebrotique.co.uk, is run by Tiger Forest Ltd under the name The Brotique (“we”, “us”). Tiger Forest Ltd is a company registered in Scotland (number SC442121), registered office Suite 2, Ground Floor, Orchard Brae House, 30 Queensferry Road, Edinburgh EH4 2HS. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. You can contact us at theguys@thebrotique.co.uk.
What the site is
The Brotique is a guide to men’s grooming: stories, guides and product picks. We do not sell products, take orders or process payments on this site. When you follow a link to a retailer, you buy from them, on their terms.
Information, not professional advice
Everything we publish is general information, written in good faith and to the best of our knowledge. It is not medical, dermatological or other professional advice. If you have a skin condition, an allergy or a health concern, speak to a qualified professional, and always check ingredients and patch test products yourself.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Some links earn us a commission, as explained in our affiliate disclosure. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, products, prices, availability or policies. Prices and stock shown on the site may change without notice.
Our content and intellectual property
The articles, photography, design, logos and other material on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may read the site, and share links to it. You may quote short extracts with clear credit and a link back. Please do not copy, republish or sell our content without written permission.
Using the site
Please use the site lawfully and do not try to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
Our liability
We take care to keep the site accurate, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, or from purchases you make from third parties.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
