The Brotique's Date Guide

Valentine's Day is getting closer by the minute.

If you’re stuck for date ideas, don’t fret, you are in the right place.

Here in The Brotique offices, we’ve been talking about great daytime dates, so have a read through our four options- we think they fit the bill perfectly.

If it’s good food that you’re after, Brunch at the Roseleaf will definitely win your heart with it’s interior and attentive staff as well as your tastebuds with the fantastic food that they offer.

For a romantic outdoor activity, we recommend a stroll up Calton Hill to watch the sunrise, the early start is definitely worth it. Take a flask of coffee, a blanket and probably an umbrella to watch this beautiful sight.

What could possibly say love more than Casablanca? Showing at 1pm at the Cameo Cinema, this is a fantastic option for the film lover or someone who just loves love. Afterwards, taking a stroll to Lovecrumbs (sticking with the theme) for some cake and great coffee will draw this date to an end perfectly.

Last but not least, Summerhall is hosting a student art festival, ‘For the Love of Science’, it’s perfect for a date with single friends or a couple. This day about scientific love will include performance, speed dating, workshops, a party in the evening and of course, Pickerings gin.
